Let's get this out of the way, right away: We will not ask for your Google (YouTube) login credentials. You are meant to keep those to yourself. Instead, we will be happy to walk you through the process of granting one or more of our staffers access as contributors to your channel, as needed.
Do you have a Google account for company use?
To clarify, Google Account does not necessarily mean Gmail. By signing up for Gmail, that becomes your Google account. But you also may register a Google account with your company email address. Ideally, you would use a company address to set up a Google account for use with a company YouTube channel. Here are the steps we follow at GS Marketing Group:
- Go to https://accounts.google.com/SignUpWithoutGmail to begin.
- Fill in your name, birthday and other personal details, as required. This is your individual account so use your info.
- For your email address, use your work email address.
- Enter and confirm a password. I suggest generating a strong password here: https://identitysafe.norton.com/password-generator (and make sure you save it).
When you have a Google account, you can associate the YouTube service with it. Ask any co-workers who will share access to the YouTube channel to register their own Google accounts, if they haven't yet done so. See how to grant them (or GS Marketing Group staff) access here: How do I grant access to my YouTube channel?
